Wednesday, 22nd September 2004
Brampton Library - Chinguacousy Branch.

The city of Brampton proclaimed the week of
Sept 20th - Sept 26th as "Awareness Week".

The proclamation was made at the City's council by mayor Susan Fennell.
Jim Muldoon, an avid supporter of our cause spoke on our behalf
elaborating the role and contribution of our support group.

The proclamation plaque was received by Us Too steering committee
members Fred Norris, Ian Smith, Mukul Luthra, and Gerry Brunjes.

In support of the "Awareness Week", Us Too! Brampton presented:

"Prostate Cancer Awareness - Knowledge is the Key"

The presentation was conducted at the Brampton Library by
Ian Smith, Vice Chairman of the support group, and aimed
to educate and promote awareness amongst the community
about prostate cancer and the importance of early testing.

Members of the public and Us Too! members attended the presentation.

Grateful thanks is acknowledged to the city of Brampton and to the
Library for the use of the room and their facilities for this event.
