December 11th 2007

Over 30 members, wives and guests braved the winter to enjoy
our delightful Christmas Pot Luck and year-end social event.

The relatively modest turnout, possibly attributed to the
earlier weather warning of freezing rain and icy conditions,
was nonetheless very spirited and the evening joyful.

Entertainment included big screen viewing of picture albums of
this year's 'Relay for Life' and 'Cruisin' for a Cure Canada' events;
music included Jazz, Caribbean, Xmas music and tracks
from the 40's and 50's era. The mood is reflected in these pictures.

The event concluded with our customary charity raffle which kept
members smiling as they won the many wonderful prizes.
The modest turnout almost meant that almost everybody
won a prize at the Lucky Draw !

Our heartfelt thanks goes out to all those who contributed
to the prizes. The Raffle is not only a worthwhile cause it always
adds an interesting and exciting closure to the event.
